CCFLT Special Recognition Awards
CCFLT recognizes
the talents and contributions of Colorado's world language professionals through
the Special Recognition Awards program. Only members of CCFLT may be nominated
for the awards and members of the current Board of Directors are not eligible.
We urge you to nominate your colleagues!
- The
Kris Wells Memorial Creativity Award is presented to an individual
who has demonstrated exceptional creativity and innovation in the field of
world languages, whether teaching , administration, or materials development.
- The
Friend of Foreign Languages is presented to an individual or
group from outside the world language teaching profession who has made significant
contributions to the teaching and learning of world languages.
- The
Genevieve Overman Memorial Service Award is presented to an individual
for dedicated and long service to the world language teaching profession,
commitment and leadership in serving CCFLT. (Click on Genevieve
Overman, who served as the first CCFLT Executive Secretary, for more information
on her and her great leadership.)
- The
Program Leadership Award is presented to a world language educator
who has provided exceptional leadership and innovation in programs beyond
the classroom level.
- The
New Educator Award is presented to a world language teacher who exhibits
a great deal of potential in developing ideas for foreign language education.
