I recently moved to Colorado from Washington where I taught French and ESL at the high school level for almost a decade.

During my time in Washington, I also had the pleasure of working with the professional community by serving on the board of the Washington Association for Language Teachers and had started a term on the local chapter of the AATF board.

Before teaching in Washington, I lived in France for eight years where I taught English as a Foreign Language. Teaching in a variety of venues, to learners from 6 to 60 helped motivate me to explore innovative ways to reach all types of learners.

Over the course of my career, involvement with professional organizations and collaboration with colleagues has been the most effective tool for professional growth. I look forward to becoming a part of the Colorado professional community through involvement with CCFLT.
