The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages is dedicated to the improvement and expansion of the teaching and learning of all languages at all levels of instruction. 

ACTFL is now accepting nominations for our 2022 Board of Directors through May 28, 2021. There are five (5) positions up for election this year:

President-Elect (K-12)

Two (2) at-large K-12 Board positions

Two (2) at-large Higher Ed positions

The Southwest Conference on Language Teaching is a regional world language teacher's organization that hosts an annual conference in participation with state world language teacher organizations.  Each year the Colorado Teacher of the Year and Best of Colorado Presenters represent us at the conference.  The CCFLT also has an appointed representative to the SWCOLT Board of Directors

Located in Washington, D.C., the Joint National Committee for Languages (JNCL) is a mission-driven membership organization representing a national network of +300,-000 professionals and specialists from the education, non-profit and industry sectors.  Our advocacy liaison attends their yearly conference to be our voice on Capitol Hill and keeps our organization informed on language news, policy analysis and advocacy alerts.
