Why is that some students refuse to speak in the target language during class? Is it just shyness? Is it that they are not understanding what’s going on? In this session we will reflect on these questions. Diego Ojeda will share ideas and strategies that have been successfully used in his instruction and that have resulted in students highly motivated to speak the language during his classes.
