As we seek to provide comprehensive and compelling input, we need to differentiate for the needs of all students in our classrooms. For example, 10% of our population has dyslexia, yet extended reading can provide serious challenges for these students. And are we including the interests of our students of color when considering what might be compelling? This session presents a compilation of different strategies to reach all students and will give participants tools to find comprehensive and compelling topics, easily adjust lesson plans, and what kind of additional material to have on hand for those with special needs.
