CI Novel Pre-Reading Activities to Capture Student Interest

Are they REALLY reading? Using low-prep, high-interest pictures, texting stories, animated singing photographs, Google Walking Tours, Reader's Theater or Artificial Intelligence, capture student interest in reading. Whether teaching a class novel or introducing new titles to a classroom library, the goal is to turn students into pleasure readers. Pre-reading sales pitches can make all the difference in helping students find their "Home Run book." Several step-by-step ideas to choose from for inspiring students to read.
