This session will provide world language educators with practical strategies for facilitating proficiency level appropriate opportunities with advanced world language learners. Practical strategies provided in this session will include methods for: the identification of advanced language learners, data collection of student work, the distinction between the different types of advanced language learners (advanced, gifted and talented, and bilingual), differentiation for the various types of advanced language learners, and how to make the process efficient and manageable for educators.
